Introducing Ceiba Arbor, a farm, rooted in community, arts and cultural preservation in Salem, CT.
Our Mission
Our mission weaves regenerative agriculture, arts programming and reciprocal spaces where Black and Brown people reclaim food as resistance and access pathways to collective freedom while transforming the food landscape in Southeastern Connecticut and beyond.
Our Vision
Ceiba Arbor is rooted in practices of Regenerative Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Arts Programming. We envision a metamorphosis of the food system in Greater New London county, where culturally relevant foods are widely accessible to migrant communities, native residents in Southeastern CT are empowered participants of their food system, and no-waste practices are abundant. Food is a universal languageβgrowing it as a form of resistance is our ancestral legacy, and our main tool for collective liberation.
